Kakšna lenobna nedelja, še dobro, da sem uspela kosilo skuhat. Saj smo skozi neki brkljali po bajti, samo pokazat ni kaj dosti. Za ven hodit pa tako ali tako ni bilo, brrrr. Tako mi je uspelo narediti prvi del druge domače naloge pri Willow. Transfer fotke male sebe in nekaj želja za vse življenje.

1st part of our 2nd homework with Willow.

Podpisano: Atja, mal drugače. Tako sem se namreč v tistih časih predstavljala, ker nisem znala rečt K. Vedela sem pa, da Atja ni prav, to pa.

The signature says Atja (a bit differently). That's how I used to introduce myself in those days. I wasn't able to pronounce the sound K. So I wasn't Katja, but Atja and I'd always add "a bit differently" because I knew that my pronunciation wasn't correct.

Še ene prenovljene startaske

Lani sem predelovala mikice, letos sem očitno obsedena z obutvijo. Kaj čmo. Še ene pobarvane startaske. Tokrat za Sončo.

Last year I was renovating T-shirts, this year it’s obviously time for foot-wear. Another pair of “liquitexed” white canvas tennis-shoes. For the resident teenager.

Japonke

Najprej so bile japonke. Z grdim, plastičnim zgornjim delom, na katerem so bile, ojej ojej, bleščice!

First there was a pair of flip-flops. With an ugly plastic top with PINK glitter! Oh my, oh my.

 

Potem je bil kos blaga, podoben temu. Kvadraten, opran in zlikan. Iz neusahljivih maminih zalog.

Then there was a piece of cloth much like this one. Only square, washed and pressed. Taken from my mother’s endless stash.

Potem so prišle mimo barve, ki so sedle na čopiče in se preselile na blago.

Then there were colors that rode some brushes straight to the cloth.

Še malo šivanja in nastale so … tadaaaa: JAPONKE!

Some hand-stitching later there were … tadaaaa: FLIP-FLOPS!

 

Pred časom sem videla tale tutorial pri Alisi Burke. Jasno, da sem morala poskusit, ne? Preskočila sem tisti del s šivanjem na stroj in utrjevanjem s šivi, bomo videli, ali tako tudi deluje. Zdaj pa – Relax!

A while ago I saw this tutorial at Alisa’s blog. But I skipped the machine stitching part. Nevertheless, aren’t they prettier now? I can’t wait for the fraying that will form around the blanket stitch, I didn’t seam or seal the borders. And now – Relax ;)
