Na vrtu

Okoli hiše vse lepo rase in uživa vroče poletje. Paradižniki pod streho čakajo prve plohe. Žajblja je letos ohogromno.

A few snapshots from our garden … Everything is growing nicely. Tomatoes got a roof in expectation of summer showers.

 

Kolerabice so že prav lepe. Tudi prva paprika že rase.

Kohlrabis are growing nicely. The first bell pepper is already here.

 

Prvo rundo rdečega ribeza smo že pojedli, druga je pripravljena na obiranje. Druge sorte pa še zorijo.

We already ate half of the red currant and the second round is now ready for picking. Other sorts are still ripening.

 

Pa češnje! Kako so dobre! Letos se je deževje nehalo ravno pravi čas za našo pozno češnjo. Hrušice pa hodimo zobat vsake par dni – tako kot dozorevajo.

Cherries from the home garden are the best! This year the tree is especially full. Canadian serviceberry is also full of sweet fruits.

 

Ringlojev bo ogromno. Hrušk tudi.

Soon we’ll be picking first greengages. The pears are also full, but we’ll have to wait few more months for them.

 

Letos nam sadja in zelenjave ne bo manjkalo.
