Štiri glavice česna (več nisem imel) sem prelil z oljem – pa ne navadnim olivcem, ampak tistim, ki je ostal od peke purana – zraven pa sem dodal še malo rožmarina in lovorja. Pa en zmlet česen, ki je poskušal malo pred tem postati arabski česnov namaz, pa mu ni uspelo. | Four garlic heads, some olive oil (remains of turkey roast), rosemary and laurel. Plus one blended garlic head that tried to become Arabic garlic sauce but failed. |
Po uri v pečici je šel česen v mikser, zraven pa še malo precejenega olja (ostanek olja smo pospravili v hladilnik). | After an hour in the oven I’ve put the garlic into a blender and added some oil. |
Nastale so tri majčkene vazice namaza. Pa še nekaj malega ga je ostalo v posodi – tega smo namazali na kruh in pojedli. Vsi štirje :) | At the end there was only enough paste for three small jars and a little extra that we (all four of as) ate on a bread. |
Slavljencu smo priložili še tri trgovinske česne – s paradižnikom, s črnimi olivami in s curryjem. | Birthday boy also got three jars of preserved garlic – one with tomato, one with black olives and one with curry. |
Kozarce smo zložili na večnamenski zavijalni papir, ki ga je v slovenščino prestavila mravljica (hvala!). | We wrapped the base into universal wrapping paper, translated into Slovenian by mravljica (many thanks!). |
