Za novi TV kotiček sem naredil enostavno poličko. Začel sem z dvema trakovoma aluminija preseka 60 x 5 mm in dolžine 280 cm. | How I built a shelf for HiFi and video boxes in our TV corner … I’ve started with two 60 x 5 mm aluminium stripes, 280 cm long. |
| Then I created bends with a good old “brute force” method. I’ve fixed the aluminium between four slabs of wood, used my hands (and weight) to make a partial bend, moved inner two blocks slightly apart, bent some more … Two hours of work on a hot day. |
Nastala sta dva lepa nosilca … | The result – two nicely shaped pieces of aluminium. |
… ki sem ju presprejal v mat črno. | I’ve sprayed them with matte black … |
Obešena na zvočnike sta bila videti že kar kulturno … | … and hanged onto the speakers. It looked neat … |
… a le do trenutka, ko sem nanju postavil zverino od ojačevalca. Potem sta se trakova upognila. Kar krepko. | … but only until I’ve put our heavy amplifier on the shelf. The aluminium was not strong enough to carry it and the whole thing bent quite a lot in the middle. |
Potreboval sem še podporo v sredini, pa sem vzel dva kosa ukrivljenega železa, ki sta mi ostala od gradnje špalirja. | I had to add a support so I took two pieces of steel which I made for the pear cordon but never used them. |
Nekaj žaganja, varjenja, brušenja, vrtanja in barvanja, pa sem imel nosilec. | An hour of sawing, welding, grinding, drilling and painting and I had my bracket. |
Privil sem ga v zid (vijak bom moral še prebarvat) in stanje je bilo takoj boljše. | It’s fixed to the wall with one screw which I still had to paint black. |
Voila! | Voila! |
